Iron Man Finished

On the 5th day of 2015 I completed my Iron Man painting in Photoshop. It took 2 weeks to finish it. I suspect I would've finished him sooner if I didn't procrastinate so much, especially when it came to the more detailed parts of the painting like his fingers. Here is the final version:

My wish was granted with this painting. I got plenty of practice making those sharp edges and lines. I really go to know the Pen and Lasso tool while working on this project. I also applied a lot of what I learnt about highlights, shadows and blending. In all, I'm really happy with how it turned out. I think It's faithful to the original picture which you can see here, but still retains enough of that painted quality with the brush strokes and imperfections in the shading.

Here is the a WIP screenshot when I was still finishing up his hand. I usually had the original photo open on the left so I could see if I had the shadows and shading right and how each piece of his armour connected with each other.
